Woman charged with criminal vehicular homicide after crash kills 4-year-old

A Mora, Minn., woman has been charged with vehicular homicide and several other felonies after she allegedly drove drunk and killed a 4-year-old child, according to the Chisago County Sheriff’s Office.

A total of six were injured – including four other children — when the woman is accused of swerving into the oncoming lane and hitting another vehicle head-on.

According to the criminal charges, the Mora woman told sheriff deputies after the crash that she was doing “squeezy blinks” before crashing into the other vehicle. She field-tested positive for methamphetamines, the charges allege.
