He supports every practice area at Storms Dworak by applying his investigative skills to uncover crucial evidence and build winning cases. Brandon’s meticulous approach ensures that our clients receive the highest standard of investigative services.
Before joining Storms Dworak, Brandon was one of the most accomplished investigative journalists in Minnesota history. In his 20-year career as an investigative journalist, Brandon exposed injustice throughout the state, including uncovering police corruption and misconduct, identifying routine failures to investigate and prosecute sexual assaults, and revealing systemic failures in child protection.
Brandon’s reporting sparked dozens of reforms and new laws, earning him the highest honors in journalism. He has been awarded multiple Emmy, Society of Professional Journalism and National Headliner Awards. Brandon was also a Pulitzer Prize finalist and a two-time winner of the esteemed duPont Award, which is considered the Pulitzer of broadcast journalism. In 2023, he won a Peabody Award for his stories exposing Minnesota’s failures to care for people with severe mental illness.
