Minnesota Sex Abuse Attorneys

wolf on a rock

If you or a loved one has been the victim of sexual abuse in a hospital, group home, or in another setting, the award-winning trial lawyers at Storms Dworak are ready to work tirelessly on your behalf.

Victims of sexual abuse and the families of victims face incredible hardships that the average person does not understand.  We do.  The lawyers at Storms Dworak LLC are compassionate, but also have the grit, experience, and talent necessary to pursue civil cases on behalf of sexual abuse victims.

We have represented the victims of sexual abuse in a variety of contexts, including hospitals, group homes, and religious institutions.  We often represent victims where the circumstances of their assault overlaps with our medical malpractice and civil rights practices.  Our award-winning trial lawyers have obtained $1 Million Dollar+ recoveries for plaintiffs on matters involving sexual assault, civil rights violations, and medical malpractice.

We are not your ordinary plaintiff’s firm.  We regularly succeed in state and federal court on complicated cases.  We are known for our ability to pursue high-profile and complicated cases.  We have won “Attorney of the Year” a combined six times.  In 2013, Jeff Storms was named an “Attorney of the Year” by Minnesota Lawyer for his work on a $3.075 Million Dollar police brutality wrongful death recovery — the largest police brutality wrongful death settlement in Minnesota History.   In 2018, Jeff was again named an Attorney for the Year for his work on the Kendrea Johnson foster child suicide case, which resulted in a $1.5 Million Dollar settlement.  In 2016, Paul Dworak was named Attorney of the Year for his work on a highly-publicized, free speech case, which settled for $425,000. In 2020, Jeff Storms and Paul Dworak were named Attorney of the Year for their work on behalf of a family whose son was shot and killed by law enforcement. They have both been inducted into the “Circle of Excellence.”

Our recent high-profile litigation has been featured throughout various media outlets:
