About Abbi

Abbi Settel is a Client Intake Specialist and Paralegal at Storms Dworak.  Abbi has a deep-seated desire to transform what can often be the most difficult period in a person’s life into something hopeful.  This passion was ignited during her youth when she worked as a camp counselor, exposing her to the difficulties faced by children in the foster system.  That experience ultimately led Abbi to pursue a career in the legal field. 

As a Client Intake Specialist, Abbi excels in gathering critical information from potential clients to ensure a seamless transition to the firm’s attorneys.  Abbi’s ability to efficiently gather information from potential clients ensures that their initial contact with the firm is both productive and reassuring. Clients can trust that Abbi will guide them through the process, making it as smooth and straightforward as possible.  Abbi brings those same skills to her position as a Paralegal, where she gathers, organizes, and synthesizes case information for the attorneys, helping the firm’s clients achieve justice.     

Abbi’s academic journey further exemplifies her dedication to excellence.  She graduated magna cum laude from St. Cloud State University, majoring in Professional Writing, Media, and Rhetoric, and minoring in Community Psychology.  Abbi went on to obtain her Paralegal Certificate from Mitchell Hamline, expanding her legal skill set.  Her academic achievements underscore her proficiency in effective communication, which is essential in understanding and addressing the unique needs of each client.
