About Abbi
Abbi Settel is a Paralegal and Office Manager at Storms Dworak. She supports the attorneys at all stages of the legal process, from the initial client intake through trial and appeal. She also helps manage the law firm’s daily operations, including bookkeeping, payroll, office supplies, and client meetings. As such, Abbi plays a crucial role in supporting the firm’s mission of providing exceptional legal representation to its clients.
Abbi has a deep-seated desire to transform what can often be the most difficult period in a person’s life into something hopeful. This passion was ignited during her youth when she worked as a camp counselor for foster children, exposing her to the daily difficulties these children face in the system. That experience ultimately led Abbi to pursue a career in the legal field at a firm that fights for children and other vulnerable people.
Prior to Storms Dworak, Abbi worked as an administrative assistant and server where she learned to put people first. Now, Abbi uses these experiences to prioritize helping clients through the legal system. Abbi’s academic journey further exemplifies her dedication to excellence. She graduated magna cum laude from St. Cloud State University, majoring in Professional Writing, Media, and Rhetoric, and minoring in Community Psychology. Abbi went on to expand her legal skill set by obtaining her Paralegal Certificate from Mitchell Hamline. Her academic achievements underscore her proficiency in effective communication, which is essential in understanding and addressing the unique needs of each client.
