Toddler not expected to survive after being attacked by Brooklyn Park pit bulls

The Star Tribune is reporting that a 3-year-old boy from Crystal is not expected to survive after being attacked by two pit bulls in Brooklyn Park.

Police said they saw the dogs attacking the toddler on July 19 and shot both animals. The boy was taken to a hospital and listed in critical condition.

Since then, family friends started an online fundraiser where they said the parents are preparing to list their son as an organ donor. The posting said “the boy’s donated organs will save more children’s lives in hopes that no other parent has to endure the pain that they are experiencing right now.”
