The Star Tribune is reporting that a 13-year-old boy has died in a Willmar juvenile facility licensed by the Minnesota Department of Corrections.
The teen was found unresponsive at the Prairie Lakes Youth Programs on Monday, June 17. Staff and emergency medical personnel administered first aid, but he was declared dead at the scene, according to the Star Tribune. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating the death.
