Teen in critical condition after being hit by wrong-way driver

A 17-year-old is in critical condition after he was hit by a driver going the wrong way on an Isanti County highway, according to the Star Tribune.

Kalen Nicholas Frederick Kluge, of Braham, was driving a truck north on Highway 65 north of Cambridge when he was hit by a 64-year-old driver who crossed the center line. That driver died and was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the state patrol.

Kluge was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center for life-threatening injuries.
