A former teacher at Basswood Elementary School in Maple Grove has been charged with sexually assaulting students, the Star Tribune is reporting.
The criminal complaint alleges that the behavior most commonly included touching girls on their buttocks along with elsewhere during the 2022-23 school year, according to the Star Tribune. The teacher faces five counts of gross-misdemeanor fifth-degree criminal sexual conduct.
