A 27-year-old Sauk Rapids woman died after she was riding her motorcycle and was struck by a van driver who allegedly failed to see her going through an intersection, according to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.
Meghan Lee Moran was riding through Sauk Rapids Township on May 16, 2026 when she was struck a 60-year-old van driver from St. Cloud.
Moran was rushed to the St. Cloud Hospital, but later died.
The Sheriff’s Office said the van driver drove into the intersection, believing the road was clear for him to proceed, when he struck Moran.
