A 33-year-old Shakopee man was fatally struck while walking along a county road, as reported by the Shakopee Police Department.
Police said that the accident occurred when a driver veered off the road, hitting the pedestrian. The driver was subsequently hospitalized in critical condition.
The State Patrol is currently investigating the accident.
