A 30-year-old Vadnais Heights man riding a motorcycle was killed on Thursday, Aug. 20, after semi-driver made a “sudden maneuver” and ran him over, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Roy John Berger was riding in rural Cass County on Highway 371 in northern Minnesota when a semi driven by Timothy William Hall “made a sudden maneuver onto the right shoulder towards the motorcycle,” the state patrol reported.
Berger hit the cable barrier. The rear of Hall’s semi then ran over the driver Berger.
The state patrol did not say what prompted Hall to make the sudden maneuver.
