One girl dead, another critical after Brooklyn Center minibike crash

A young girl has died and another critically injured after a minibike they were riding was struck by a driver in Brooklyn Center Thursday afternoon, according to Bring Me the News.

The news outlet reports that the collision occurred on 63rd Avenue North approaching Brooklyn Drive, where two girls under the age of 10 were riding eastbound when they were struck by a southbound vehicle.

Responders administered CPR to both girls and took them to North Memorial Hospital, according to the Brooklyn Center police department.

One of the girls was pronounced dead at the hospital, with the other in critical condition.
