KARE 11 is reporting that a one-time Minnesota Teacher of the Year is accused of grooming and sexually assaulting a 14-year-old student at Harvest Best Academy in Minneapolis.
The student accused the now 38-year-old teacher of beginning the sexual abuse when she was in the 8th grade in 2016, the same year her instructor was named Teacher of the Year, according to the KARE 11. The teacher has been charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a person between the ages of 13-15 while in a position of authority.
