The Department of Human Services ordered a South St. Paul daycare to close after a 3-year-old allegedly ingested methamphetamines, according to media reports.
The child’s mother told KARE 11 and KSTP that when she picked her son up from the daycare he was acting strangely enough that she took him to a hospital, where his mother said he tested positive for meth in his system. The boy has since recovered.
According to KSTP, DHS ordered the daycare’s license suspended, saying in its order that, “there is an imminent risk of harm to persons served.”
KARE 11 reported reaching out to the elected official who runs the day care, but have not heard back
