A man charged with first degree murder after he was accused of killing his co-worker with a sledgehammer has been found incompetent to stand trial, KARE 11 reports.
Amber Czech, 20, died at Advanced Process Technologies in Cokato on Nov. 25, 2025, when 41-year-old David Bruce Delong attacked her, later telling police that he had been planning to kill Czech “for a long time” because he did not like her, according to the criminal complaint.
Police say that surveillance video showed Delong striking her in the head with a sledgehammer, then hitting her four more times as she lay helpless on the ground.
