A Burnsville High School boys volleyball coach faces three counts of criminal sexual misconduct after being accused of repeatedly assaulting one of her teenage players, multiple media outlets are reporting.
A witness tip led police to review the alleged victim’s cell phone, where a text from the coach told her player that he “had a lot of things to delete,” according to the Star Tribune, citing the criminal complaint.
The teen said he and the coach began seeing each other about two or three months ago, the criminal complaint alleges.
When questioned, the complaint alleges that the coach admitted to police that she and the teenager were sexual in her car, at her house, at his home, and at a Burnsville residence.
