A former caregiver at a Blaine daycare is serving a 90-day jail sentence after pleading guilty to assaulting children in her care, according to KARE 11.
The woman was one of two employees linked to reports of child abuse at the Small World Daycare Center in Blaine in July of 2024, KARE 11 reports.
Blaine investigators reviewed surveillance video from the daycare and observed what they called “obvious acts of abuse,” according to the criminal charges. Among those acts, according to Blaine police, was a child being grabbed by her thighs and flipped over violently.
According to KARE 11, investigators say the little girl was bruised in nine different areas of her body.
