A 17-year-old is dead and three others are injured after a head-on crash in Sibley County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Mya Jean Maus of Henderson was driving a Pontiac Bonneville east on Highway 19 at about 1 a.m. on Aug. 30 when she collided with a Chevy Truck.
Maus was pronounced dead at the scene. A driver and two passengers in the truck were all taken to HCMC hospital, with the two passengers facing life-threatening injuries.
Bring Me The News reported that tributes to Maus poured in through social media. Bayside Manor, an assisted living facility in Gaylord where Maus worked as an aide, described her as, ”sassy, kind, funny, and absolutely perfect in all the ways that mattered.”
