A former worker at the Small World Learning Center in Blaine day care has been sentenced to a month in jail for roughly handling infants, according to KSTP.
Chloe Kaye Johnson, 25, was one of two workers at the day care charged with child abuse. Investigators reported that they found three victims with various injuries in 2024.
The other former employee, Elizabeth Wiemerslage, was sentenced to 90 days in jail.
For one of the children, court documents indicated there was bruising in “…nine different areas on her body” and consistent with “grip injury” or “squeeze-type injury,” according to KSTP.
