Man dies after driver pins him to wall in Faribault Walmart parking lot

A 74-old-man is dead after being pinned to a wall by a driver backing up his pickup truck in a Walmart parking lot in Faribault, according to the city’s police department.

Steven Patrick Clark, of Medford, Minn., was walking out of the Walmart liquor store as the pickup driver was in reverse attempting to parallel park to the side of the building.

The pickup driver briefly pinned Clark to the corner of the building, crushing his pelvis and torso, police said. Clark died after being taken to a nearby hospital.

Police said they are investigating the case and will forward it to the prosecutor’s office for review.
