A Moorhead man will serve about four in prison after he so drunk that he seen on video stumbling through a restaurant before getting into his car, then drove down the wrong side of a highway and caused a fatal head-on collision, according to the Star Tribune.
Jennifer Elizabeth Watson, 43, of Ennis, Texas was killed along with her dog in the crash on Highway 75 in Moorhead. The driver, 28-year-old Christopher Thomas Pink, had been eating at a Moorhead Buffalo Wild Wings. Law enforcement reviewed the restaurant’s surveillance video, which showed him “consuming alcohol and taking shots,” according to the criminal complaint noted.
“At one point, [he] is seen on video stumbling through the restaurant, unable to keep his head up and dropping items on the floor,” according to the State Trooper’s investigation.
