Brooklyn Park school counselor accused of filming student, superimposing face on computer-generated naked body

A former school counselor at Living Word Christian Center in Brooklyn Park has been charged with a felony following accusations that he recorded and photographed a 13-year-old girl, then superimposed the images on a computer-generated female body that was nude or in lingerie, according to criminal charges.

The charges say that the girl was changing for softball in 50-year-old Jason Gary Polzin’s classroom in April 2024 when she noticed that his phone was on and pointed at her. She was later interviewed at a child abuse center, where she said Polzin would give her rides and invited her to go on his boat.

When police searched Polzin’s home they found 52 photos of the girl and 165 photos of the girl’s face on a naked female body or a female body wearing revealing lingerie, according to the criminal charges.
