An equipment operator for a tree-trimming crew has been charged with manslaughter after he reportedly told police he was ‘casting “f-ing around” when he crushed a coworker’s head Thursday in Apple Valley, KARE 11 reports.
Christopher Crimmins, 34, was operating a hydraulic grapple boom on the back of a tree-trimming truck when he told authorities he was playing around with one of his coworkers, who was cleaning up branches, according to KARE 11.
Citing the criminal charge, FOX 9 reports that Crimmins said he and the victim were “f–king around” and “saw that the sunlight was casting shadows of both the grapple and of the victim on the street.”
