The City of Minneapolis has agreed to pay $27,000,000 to the next of kin of George Floyd for his wrongful killing at the hands of Minneapolis police officers. The settlement is the largest police brutality settlement in Minnesota History, and is believed to be the largest pre-trial, wrongful death settlement in an individual civil rights case in US History.
