A search warrant alleges that a Blaine art teacher took as many as 20 inappropriate videos of young girls at Jefferson Elementary School, KARE 11 reports.
The teacher has already been charged with a gross misdemeanor count of Interfere with Privacy Against a Minor after being accused of making a video where he pointed a camera up a 3rd grade student’s skirt.
According to KARE 11, court records say that school staff helped police confirm the identities of four more students in recordings found on Bassett’s phone. It also alleges Bassett attempted to delete the videos.
Court records say that the teacher admitted to investigators that he made the videos “for the thrill of it,” according to KARE 11.
Jefferson Elementary told KARE 11 that the teacher is on administrative leave.
