Partners Paul Dworak and Jeff Storms recently won a medical malpractice trial, where the jury found that a rounding urologist failed to properly disclose risks of conservative management and surgical options following the complications of a vasectomy. The jury ultimately awarded the patient and his wife, who had a claim for loss of consortium, a total jury verdict in the amount of $530,000. The defendants offered the plaintiffs zero dollars prior to trial.
