About JOE

Joe delivers results. Driven by strong principles of fairness, equity, and responsibility, he is strategic and steadfast in achieving his clients’ goals. Joe’s empathetic nature and relentless pursuit of justice not only enhance his client relations, but also fortify his resolve to fight zealously for civil rights and personal injury victims.

Before joining Storms Dworak, Joe served as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office and as a New York University School of Law Research Scholar. In these positions, Joe practiced climate change, consumer protection, and environmental justice law, litigating against some of the largest companies in the world, including Walmart, Reynolds, ExxonMobil, Koch Industries, and the American Petroleum Institute. Joe also clerked for the Minnesota Court of Appeals, during which time he developed an insider’s understanding of the judicial system and judges’ decision-making processes.

In addition to his legal prowess, Joe is actively involved in community engagement and political advocacy. Prior to law school, he immersed himself in campaign work and served as a community organizer, roles that honed his skills in constituent mobilization and policy reform. This background in grassroots organizing informs his legal practice and enriches his approach to handling civil rights cases, where societal impacts and community contexts are pivotal.

At Storms Dworak, Joe blends his legal expertise with a profound commitment to social justice, championing the rights of individuals and communities to maximize their compensation and hold wrongdoers accountable.
